In the event that our cleaning team arrives at the scheduled location but finds it inaccessible or unable to commence cleaning due to incomplete renovations or the presence of renovation debris that were not communicated beforehand, the incurred man hours will continue to be charged based on the time of the cleaners’ arrival.
Change of Date/Time
- Rescheduling fee of $30 is applicable if Household Service Elite is being notified in less than 3 working days*. Rescheduling fee of $50 is applicable if Household Service Elite is being notified in less than 2 working days*.
- The reschedule date of any cleaning services should not be dated more than 3 months from the initial booking date.
Cancellation Policy
- Any service cancellation requested by the customer in less than 7 working days* from the scheduled service date & time will be charged with an admin fee of $100 or 20% of the total quoted amount whichever is higher.
- Any service cancellation requested by the customer in less than 3 working days* from the scheduled service date & time will be charged with an admin fee of $150 or 50% of the total quoted amount whichever is higher.
- Any service cancellation requested by the customer after making a rescheduling will result in full deposit amount being forfeited.
*Working hour refers to Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM excluding Public Holidays
Limitation of Liability
- Our maximum liability is up to S$100/- per cleaning service whichever is lesser if Household Service Elite Pte Ltd has been proved to be the sole party to have cause damage to customer’s properties during the cleaning service. The value of the damage will be determined base on the similar item and value found in the marketplace.
- If any damages of furniture/items occurred during the cleaning session caused by our team, customer is required to inform our team of the issue with photos within 24hours starting from the end of cleaning session for further assessment and resolution to be proposed by our representative.
- The proposed resolution will take into consideration of current market value, depreciation rates and conditions of the item.
Extension of Hours
- For any extension of hours, we will give a special rate of:
- $35/hr/cleaner (weekday) $40/hr/cleaner (rate during CNY) $40/hr/cleaner (after 6pm and during Sunday)
Task Exclusion List
- Tasks that are excluded during the cleaning are; washing of washing machine, aircon filter, cleaning of exterior of window, cleaning of window that is more than 3m height, Cleaning of ceiling, polishing of sanitary fittings, washing of plates, grouting, chemical washing, paint stain removal & removal of any protection sheet unless otherwise stated.
Delayed Deposit/Payment
- Household Service Elite Pte Ltd reserves all the rights to cancel the job at any time without notification and compensation if deposit/payment is not collected within 3 working days before the scheduled job date.
- A 5% of total job amount will be incurred as late payment fee if the payment is not fully received on the day of job completion. If failure to make full payment after 3 days from date of job completion, it will incur the one time late payment fee of 5% and an additional 1% interest fee of total job amount for each day until full payment is received by Household Service Elite Pte Ltd.
Confirmation of Booking
- Customer understands that by receiving pre-confirmation summary, it does not mean the job or time slot has been secured for the customer. A booking is only confirmed and secured when Household Service Elite has received the correct deposit/payment amount. Any remaining balance will be required to be paid right after completion of work.
- Household Service Elite Pte Ltd reserve the rights to cancel our service to any customer in the event of any unforeseen situation and circumstances.
Valuables and Personal Belongings
- Customer understands that all valuables and or any accessories/gold/sliver/etc should be kept safe and locked during the whole cleaning session. Household Service Elite Pte Ltd will not be responsible for any valuable items that are lost and not kept safely by the customer.
Customers are advised to attend the handover to inspect the cleaning work. Any areas of dissatisfaction should be promptly communicated to our supervisor for touch-up arrangements. If customers are unable to attend the handover, full payment is still required before our cleaning crew departs. Delayed payment resulting from the customer’s inability to attend the handover will incur additional fees as outlined in our delayed payment clause. Requests for rectification of unsatisfactory areas will only be considered if the customer has personally inspected and conducted the handover with our cleaning team.
